Welcome to Leicester Early Music Festival Festival celebrates 21st birthday Leicester Early Music Festival 2010 will run from 23rd May - 12th June 2010. Opening Concert 26th May by Emma Kirkby and Anthony Rooley. Full details may be found on these pages. Not only nakers, shawms, serpents and crumhorns, but also Vivaldi, Bach and Handel. The music was written for the popular audience and maintains its appeal today. Many of our events are designed with youngsters in mind. All are suitable for musicians and non-musicians alike.
